panchakarma

"Each body type has its own special practices or sadhanas. These are wholesome and abiding activities that are attuned to nature and that have been refined through the memory of all time."

panchakarma

Ayurveda's ancient cleansing and rejuvenating therapy - panchakarma - brilliantly addresses the root cause of inbalance in body-mind physiology. In Sanskrit, Pancha means "five" and Karma means "action" which refers to the five purifying treatments used to eliminate accumulated waste products and toxins. It is an artful process completely unique to each individual. Traditionally in India, panchakarma takes anywhere from 17-28 days and is guided by an Ayurvedic Doctor. Two practitioners perform specialized treatments each day and herbs and meals are specifically prepared to serve the cleansing and rebalancing process.

At Sways on the Watertop, I offer 3-5 day retreats using the concepts and therapies of traditional panchakarma but within the scope and focus of my practice as a bodyworker and Ayurvedic Practitioner. These are exclusive full day Immersions with two practitioners working in tandem providing daily massage, steam, specialty treatments and healthy meals customized for you.

Immersion retreats include a pre-consultation appointment with preparatory dietary and lifestyle guidelines to apply prior to your retreat. Customized self-care remedies are given to support your process post therapy. All meals are included and there are local Airbnb accommodations available with the beautiful Harbin Hot Springs Resort nearby.

If you are interested in a rejuvenating reset of mind and body, being deeply held with skill, compassion and care, please call or text to schedule a free consultation and receive more information.
